My foray instead adult work started when I was about 18 over the summer after my first year in college. I was unable to get any meaningful work. It seemed like the jobs that I was getting wanted you to break your back for so little in return. I started strip dancing at a club in New Jersey. It was fun getting all this attention and putting on a show. I loved entertaining people, so it was perfect. I danced for about 6 years after that. It was very fun. When I moved out to California, the town that I lived in didn't have any clubs. I tried working at a massage parlor. I knew it was adult oriented but didn't know exactly what was involved. My first parlor was a Korean place. Most of the ladies were much older but very friendly. I met a lot of older men who sometimes just wanted to sit and chat. I sensed some of them were lonely, so I offered to cuddle them. Some of them were actually looking for a massage which I had some training in. Of course, most wanted the happy part which was fine with me. It was something different, new and exciting. Defintely a lot more fun than the 9 to 5, and I didn't have to get up at the crack of dawn.
I've been doing massages now for about 17 years mainly outcall or at my place. I've met all types of wonderful people from all walks of life. From massage, I did escorting from time to time. Escorting was much more risky back in 2002. There was no way to screen, and I was new. I worked at a few agencies, but they didn't care for your safety. They would just send you anywhere. Robberies, drug addicts and scam artists were common. In addition, at least, for me, I have to have some type of feelings for the other person before I can just jump in bed with them. It doesn't mean we have to be best friends or boyfriend/girlfriend, but I have to have some type of rapport with them or something in common. It can't just be come in, spread your legs and see you later. It doesn't work for me. It's too cold, too callous, too impersonal. It's almost like some people treat escorting like they are taking out the garbage. "Ok, let me just suck this, and I'll be with you in a minute. Hold please." It's unnerving when it gets reduced to a mere act. I don't think that was the intention. It certainly wouldn't cure your loneliness if that's why you went to an escort.
Recently, I've gotten into webcamming. I miss being able to entertain large groups of people. Web camming provides that avenue. I don't have to deal with the drunken behavior of strip clubs. One thing I did not like about the strip clubs was all the drugs, booze and negativity. I've partied before for fun, but I wasn't obsessed with it. As I got older, I had less and less in common with people who just wanted to party all the time. Web camming is perfect. You still get to interact and entertain a lot of people without the club annoyances. I can dress up in stripper clothes, stiletto heels, colored wigs and create all kinds of make up designs. People have all kinds of different tastes. Fetishes are popular. It's a fun job, and it may turn into a little more.
So aren't you glad I didn't go on and on about my umpteenth degrees and my glamorous corporate executive job that I quit just to become an escort?
